I know. You're thinking "What the heck is this?" Truth be told, I thought the same thing too. I didn't know if this was a hyena or a badger or what it was. Turns out, this is an aardwolf. You know, like an aardvark except in wolf form. Aardwolves eat mainly ants and termites. Their good hearing helps them track down these insects. They are nocturnal hunters who tear up mounds, stick their face in and devour everything in sight. They can eat 2,000 in a single night. Many ants lose their lives to these guys. Sad, isn't it? Sort of like when someone opens a tub of ice cream. They are native to Africa. They like it where it is completely vegetationless.
