The rock hyrax is bascically a giant guinea pig with fangs. Yep. Actually, despite it being no bigger then a possum, it is related to the taiper. They have a bad tempature regulation, so in the cold weather, you will find them huddling together. That doesn't often happen, though, because they are found mostly in Africa. Their reproduction is around 4 each a year. In each family, the single adult male aggresively kills all the other hyraxes in their territory. Great, aren't they? If they feel threatened, they will make chewing motions, warning their enemy to back off. Many people mistake this for chewing. They are also known in the Bible as an Asian hare or rabbit.
