The babirusa is a species of pig with four tusks, two sticking out of it's mouth and two out of the bridge of it's nose. They are hairless, for the most part, exept for some bristles sticking out of its wrinkled skin. They are a threatened species due to overhunting and habitat loss. They were referred to as the "pig deer" by the indian tribe that discovered it.A scientist named John Mckinin discovered that the extra pair of tusks was for protecting their eyes when having fights with males. An ancient indian tribe had a story about that. They said that a boar was fighting with a snake, and when the snake bit the pig, the the fangs stuck in its head. The poison caused the skin to become wrinkled and hairless. Weird people, huh?
