The takin is a mountain animal that lives on the mountains of Asia. It smells like car oil. They are a breed of cattle that ancient people used for meat, fur, and even transportation. They are closely related to the musk ox of North America. In China, they are considered to be natural treasures. Bhutan even made it it's national emblem. The reason for this is because they have a value to their mythology. They say that a Lama (which is an Asian religous person) Drukpa Kunley, also known as the divine madman, came to them and ordered food. Instead of just wanting a small part, he ordered the whole cow. After he ate it, he put the head on the bones. He snapped his fingers and it got up, walked to the field, and started grazing.
