I know, these things don't look to weird, like the chuckwalla or aardwolf or muscovy duck, but I had to put it on my website for one reason. How incredibly dumb it is. It catches oysters. Who needs to catch oysters? They don't go anywhere! But anyway,these guys are mostly found in European places, mostly the shores of Ireland and Great Britain, but have been seen in New Zealand and other Oceanic places. This particular species is all black, unlike their black and white relatives, but they all share a long red beak and bright red webbed feet, attached to long red legs, used for wading. As the stupid name indicates, they eat oysters. But they have to catch them first, 'cause they're really fast.
