The Mongolian deathworm is a large worm (2-5 feet long) that lives in the Gobi Desert, in Mongolia. It's local name is allghoi, meaning "blood filled intestine worm". They are called this because they resemble a cow's intestine. They are one of the more famous members of the cryptid family. They beleive the legend started when some crazy Mongolian saw a bunch of ants carrying a dead cow intestine. THey automatically thought it was a living, flesh-eating worm. They are said to eat rotting coarpses and any living person or animal surrounding it. They have a fun way of killing people from a distance by spraying an acid-like substance at them. Scientists think that they are extremely unlikely to exist because of their habitat.
