The dumbo octopus is a mollusk version of a pacman ghost. They are little tiny things, about 7 inches long, found in the deep ocean where they can dwell in the darkness. They eat little tiny krill, worms and small crustaceans. They can squirt out ink, like normal octopii. It got it's name from the fins on it's head, making it look like Dumbo the elephant. A way to tell the males and females apart is by looking at its suction cup patterns. I think these scientist people have to much time on their hands, don't you? The females also don't have a mating season. They lay eggs constantly. A really interesting thing about them is that they can make themselves transparent at will.
