The coconut crab is a nice little species of crab found in Seychelles, Africa. If the picture didn't give it away, it is the only crab that can climb trees, rocks, and even people. Their legs let them climb things, like a monkey's prehensile tail. They are the largest arthropod in the world. That gives it two records. Pretty cool, huh? They are also known as robber crabs or palm theif crabs, because of their record of stealing shiny objects. Sort of sounds like me. Another cool thing is the larvae can swim, but not the adults.
