The jerboa is completly different species from a kangaroo rat. They are found in the Sahara desert in Africa. They generaly have large ears and they think they are so much cooler then other rodents because of it. They can still hop and their body structures are similar to hopping mice. They are a nocturnal animal, and spend the day sleeping in burrows. They make these burrows in a special way. They generaly make four. Two are perminant, which they use as their homes, and two are temperary, which they use as "tents". They tend to make them with more then one entrance and exit, in case any predators come.
