A mummy is an ancient Egyptian dead guy . The ancient Egyptians, when their king dies, would wrap them in bandages and remove their organs. They then bury them in a pyramid. Since they are burried with all kinds of gold and jewels, robbers try to break in. But they are full of traps and corridors and fake halls leading to long falls to their deaths, so not many of them come out. Thier partners decided that their deaths are because of the dead king coming back to life to kill them, so they told the other people that and called them mummies. They are not onlyof people, though. Some robbers and explorerers claim that cats, birds, monkeys, and beetles have tried to kill them, to. That would be because the old egyptian people thought that they were holy, and burried them with their king.
