The serval is an African cat about 2 feet long and 8 pounds. They range from Kenya to Ethiopia, and eat mostly frogs, mice and fish, but will occasionally eat large hares and baby antalopes. It hunts by jumping verticaly on it's prey. It can jump up to 10 feet in the air and always land on their helpless victims. Smart, ain't they? Just to prove it, these guys only stay with their wives 66-77 days, long enough to have 3 little ravenous kittens. Take that, Tiger Woods! Even though they are genuis, they are unfortunately been hunted down for their fancy spotted furs in Africa, but they are kept as pets in Europe. Those Europeans are going to save us all! In Egypt, they are used to gaurd the food supplies. They go from brilliant wild cats, to fur coats, to pets to gaurds? What has the world come too?!
