Mngwas (pronounced "gwa") are monsterous cats, about the size of a leapord is a Swahilian monster meaning "strange one." Believe it or not, they were terrified of these things. To me, they just look like giant housecats. Unfortunatly, they have a silent power that they use to sneak up on hunters and kill them. They are just like the kraken, many people have tried to hunt them, but die. They have found many of their bodies, completely mangled and torn to shreds. But they have the idea that a mngwa did it from the gray hair they were clutching in their hands. When they tried to burn the hair, nothing happened. They later found a large cat with patches of it's gray hair missing. The survivor told them about it, and thay came up with this.
