The starnose mole is an adorable little critter whose face appears to be chopped up by an ax. They are blind, considering the fact that they have no eyes, and dig around with their huge claws. They are able to survive because of their incredible sense of smell. They eat worms, bugs, and roots that they dig up from the ground.They have a ratlike tail, unlike most moles, who don't have tails. They're probably jelous. Most of them have twenty-two tentacles sticking out of their face. Who takes the time to count them, though? But they are pretty useful. They can even sniff things under water! These guys are actually close relatives of the shrew.
