The Ankou is a non-skeletal version of the Grim Reaper. In Celtic mythology, he collects the souls of the dead. They say people have been known to make deals and bets with him, but if they lose they will lose their soul to him before they die. That means they can't even feel the fact that they exist. They have no memory, no feeling, no anything. Worse then going to school. He goes around on a cart pulled by two phantom horses and a ghost as a driver. He and his cart are invisible to everybody but the dead. He can turn his head in all directions to see everything around him. The hourglass he carries glows whenever somebody dies, and gets warmer as he gets nearer to them. The daggers he carries are used only on people who try to cheat death.
